DSK Bank in Bulgaria fined for Data Breach
One of Bulgaria’s largest banks DSK Bank, will pay a fine to the tune of EUR 511,000, because it failed to guarantee the confidentiality of the personal data of its clients, as announced from the Commission for Personal Data Protection.
Personal data, including personal ID numbers, personal and biometric data such as colour of eyes and height, number of bank accounts and even health condition of over 33,000 clients together with a large number of third persons, were disclosed.
